I deployed a Cisco CUCME-type system this week and the best thing is I'm not even in the same country
Phone system was not spec'ed by me at all, but is a UC560 with SPA525G2 handsets and two Polycom IP5000 and IP7000 phones. The PSTN trunk is a SIP ITSP provided connection.

Had some issues with the SPA phones not keeping / picking up soft buttons and some issues with connectivity to the ITSP as they did not provide any proper connecitivity details. There is also no way of viewing the SPA525 that I know of, remotely with the UC560 as there is with the Cisco 79xx phones for example. Apart from the little hiccups it didn't go too badly. I managed to slot that in along side current work so have had some late nights and early starts the past week.


This weekend I hope to rest.

Happy to hear you got everything worked out. Congrats on your first setup. It is always interesting when the ITSP doesn't provide all the info.
