could not connect to dynamips server 127.0.0.1

Wed Jun 27, 2012 2:40 am

I am running GNS3 0.7.4 on an Ubuntu Release 11.10 ( Oneiric).

Whenever I save a topology with more than one 3700 series router, I always have an error when trying to get back my topology on a later date.

When I run the command dynagen topology.net the below is what I get as my output

Reading configuration file...

*** Warning: Could not connect to dynamips server 127.0.0.1:7200

*** Error: errors during loading of the topology file, please correct them
Press ENTER to continue

What could be the problem ??

Check the .net files for what it is using i.e. localhost or 127.0.0.1.
I've seen that cause problems on windows before.
You have checked both boxes for saving files?
Good Luck,

David
