I'm curious what you guys use for your home office desk.. We moved into our new place a month ago and have been looking around at L & U shaped desks for the den. I'm a big fan of the Cherry / Mahogany colored L shaped desks with the hutch.. Something like this L shaped or this U shaped..

What do you guys have?

I've got a simple Ikea desk. I've had it for about a decade now. I don't really have room for anything bigger.

I have a cheap desk at the moment. Eventually I'd like to get a large "executive" desk. Like this one:

I have a $20 Walmart folding table. It's the only thing that will fit here.

I have an L shaped desk. $10 on Craig's List. Probably won't survive a second move though.

I have a desk like this. My home office is pretty kick ass. A wall of dark wood built in shelves and cabinets and an executive desk. I removed the fish tank because I want to add a comfy chair in here so Kell and I can both chill, but haven't rearranged and bought the chair yet.

That's what I'm looking for. We'll be buying a new house in the next yearish. I plan to junk most of my current office furniture and splurge on new, nicer stuff.

Exactly what I'm doing.. There are some nice Executive desks on Craigslist for $200-$300. Nothing worth rushing out the door cash in hand yet..

Nothing special here, I have your standard rectangular wood chipboard desk, a posh looking lamp that got relegated from downstairs and a chair thats like one of those leather directors chairs (small and not comfy)

Its also officially a tip in here right now

I have a large metal office desk here, with side drawers on both sides, got it from a company I used to work for that went under.

The real question though is who has ear ache at the end of each day? do you share your office with your "lab"?

I do and at best all is on is a Cisco 3550, laptop (which is noisier than the 3550 weirdly) and a custom PC in one of those Cooler Master Cosmos cases with about 500 fans in it (but once again the laptop is noisier) at worst things are not good so I save that only for special cases!

Need to get a fanless HP procurve gigabit switch instead of the 3550, maybe a 1810G?? and relegate the 3550 to the cisco lab!

I've just got old fashioned office desk that looks like it was built to survive and earthquake as the metal legs on it weight about as much as a baby elephant each, but its sturdy and solid and holds all the crap I stick on top of it (and it cost me nothing) so what more could I want? :D

Old shitty kids computer desk that I picked up in a garage sale a few years back. Looks pathetic but gets the job done. Also my chair was damaged in the move so its missing a caster :) One of these days Ill get it fixed.

Crappy desk that's pretty small that I've had about 10 years. I would like a larger L shaped desk, just haven't spent the money on it yet. Maybe after my wedding in July I'll be able to put some money aside for one.

Next, a little office decor, maybe some posters made up at Kinko's of this guys work framed on the wall, maybe one of these.. Then try and figure out how to get this thing in the den... Besides Stretch's posters, what nerd stuff do you guys have on your walls?
