Another good resource - Henry and the guys at Box Hill do a great job in Networking Academy Program.

Box Hill Institute is the Cisco Academy Training Centre for Australia-NewZealand which means ultimately the quality of all CCNA and CCNP Academy instructors in these 2 countries is their responsibility.

Furthermore they play a big role in the program throughout Asia-Pacific - so you are looking at good stuff there.

Are you their sales rep? :)

Seriously...I agree completely. They do a fantastic job down their in Box Hill. I've not long started the academy instructor program and found it a great way to reinforce all those things I had forgotten!

No not for them - but I can sell you a course at a great TAFE in Perth :D

I've spent many hours, both instructional hour and social with Henry, Bob and company in Oz and other locations throughout AsiaPac.

So you're on the instructor track - great - want to come and work in the sunny pretty city on the west coast? We've just had two young guys leave - one to earn BIG bucks with a mining company and the other has taken off with this CCNP to Europe!

We're really short of certified instructors (CCNA, CCNP, Security, Wireless & IT Essentials) over here.

Would love to..when do I start? :)

Seriously...I think the missus might object somehow although the warm climate would suite her better than here in Victoria.

How's Monday 23 April sound? Seriously, that's when Term 2 starts and I know they're short.

Although first you have to apply, then you need a police clearance, then there's the certification check, then there's the Workplace Training and Assessment qual, then you'd be offered a fixed term contract. So in reality you would probably get to start February 2008!

You mean Cert IV TAA! I have that covered as well.

Feb 2008 would be fine as my parole should kick in by Jan at the latest....the police clearance might be tricky though

It's ok everyone that's just a joke!

er, the bit about his parole was the joke - not the link, that's deadly serious - I'd say fair dinkum, but that might get me kicked off some US airlines so I won't say that.
