Hello.
I work at a non profit with a smaller computer lab currently setup with Comcast as our ISP. I know next to nothing about networking. I am getting a computer science degree and have not taking our networking classes yet. My forte is more overclocking, undervolting, hardware oriented.

Anyways my question here is simple. What we would like to setup is an acceptance page that a user must accept to use the internet in our lab.
IE get on the computer, open browser, get greeted with a screen saying please read and accept the terms to use the internet.

No one here has set something like this up or even is sure how we would go about doing it. We are in the market for a new wireless router to handle the lab. When you configure something like this, where does it even come from? How would this be accomplished?

Thank You.

:thankyou:

It's called a Captive Portal, and you either need a router that can support it natively, or you can also get third party solutions that will do it for you. I don't have any experience with the third party ones so I can't really help out there.
