Hrm... Wish I'd seen this earlier. Ribeye for me, tenderloin for the wife. A mess of potato wedges and some asparagus were all on the grill tonight. Finished the steaks with a blackberry balsamic reduction. Good stuff.

That's similar to mine:

Prime Filet w/ Crab Bearnaise
Garlic Mashed Potatoes w/ Asparagus

We have a local Angus farm across town, with the parents in town, I though I would splurge

Angus Delmonico Ribeye Steaks, these puppies were like 16 bucks a pound, and with just over 4 pounds of steak...
...but they were oh so good !!!!

ImageNY strip for the wife, rib eye for me. They be bison, not cow. Got a blue cheese sauce with a blackberry compote to go with, and roasted garlic smashed potatoes, roasted vine ripened tomatoes, and steamed baby bok choy to round off the plate. Will post pic of finished product.

The NY strip looks like a sirloin or porterhouse cut.

soak your corn in the husk, in water for about 30 mins prior to grilling, you can grill the corn right in the husk, steams the corn inside, comes out delicious. takes about 20 mins or so to cook.

That's normally what I do, but the corn was a late addition & already husked (extra from my parents). I put butter, salt & pepper in the foil & grilled them for about 30-40 minutes, came out pretty good but a little burned/caramelized in a few spots.
