So I got hooked up with some CCNA Security training videos and was planning on watching 8-10 videos and getting a good 4-6 hours of studying in this passed weekend since my fiancee had several parties to go to and I'd have the house to myself most of the weekend.

As I posted in the weekend thread my main breaker went out Friday night so I got stuck working on that Friday and most of Saturday. Then my dad did a surprise visit Saturday afternoon and stayed at my place Saturday night and last night.

So over the entire weekend I watched 15 minutes of one video. I enjoyed the visit from my dad but damn I lost another entire weekend and this coming up weekend won't be any better.

Maybe if I don't plan on studying, I'll actually get to study...

I didn't get any studying done either. Got hooked into the campaign and co-op modes on BF3.

I did get to play some BF3 but I'm used to getting up early so when I woke up at 6am on Saturday I played a little while waiting for my buddy to buy the part we needed to fix the breaker. Didn't play as much as I wanted though.

Yeah no study done here either. But I didnt expect to get any time for study anyways. Spend all weekend cleaning and unpacking the new house. New baby comes in about 5 weeks or less and we have tons of stuff to get done before she arives. Im banking that I will have time at work to focus on my studies

Got the audio setup in my movie room. Put the projector on top of a bookshelf, and played some BF3. Still got to figure out where exactly the projector will be mounted. Got my wifi fixed. No studying.

Did a little studying, played more Super Mario Wii then I would have liked. But I need to collect all the star coins, dammit!

Strong username to weekend activities.

I actually got to study quite a bit, the CCIE OCG is a surprisingly good read. Also, spent about 3 hours looking for vegemite in Montreal. Found a local shop that imports it... I cleared their shelf.

Ish! :hand:

Every time I head down to Melbourne, I bring back the biggest jug I can. It never lasts more than a week or two.

The breakfast recipe:
Bread of some sort (extra points for sour-dough)
Vegemite
Mashed up avocado
Black pepper (salt if you fancy it)
Lemon or lime juice

yep.

Just as advertised on my end... Moved our datacenter to the new building which went by surprisingly without many hitches. All in all, put in about 30 hours from Friday-Sunday but it's turning out pretty well...

Today was the first day everyone was back to work and users complained of slowness. Threw iperf on both sides of the VPLS pipe between buildings and was getting a WHOPPING 2-3 Mbps across a 100 Mb pipe. Talked to the ISP and they found an interface in the path configured at 4Mbps. They fixed the issue and bandwidth jumped to 36Mbps.. Still not happy with that so going to call in the morning but its a lot better than 2-3 Mbps ;)
