More time in the day would be nice; but of course it would be quickly allocated and soon we would need even more time in the day.

But agreed: more time in the day.

I looked at my lab at 10pm last night and thought I want to but my body was saying you can't, so get some sleep.

On sims, do you have to wr mem to get them right? I am working through the Boson sims and it is saying 'incorrect' even though I made the changes that I should have.

No, answers are based upon running-config, not startup-config. I always did, anyways, to be sure, but Cisco says its the running-config that matters.

Thanks. I was looking at my old cert dates, NA, DA, NP, and DP and I think it's been 11 years since the last time I took the NA test. :)

Going to move on the the NP, probably the SWITCH exam first.

I know what you mean about questions popping up that aren't in the book. I got a LOT of that on my MPLS exam

Well I failed by 4 points today, I got an 821 (825 is passing) for my CCNA. I guess my loss would be more palatable if I completely bombed the CCNA. What did me in was the simulations which I felt didn't supply enough information for one of them. The other they gave me right at the very end of the test when I had 5 minutes left. I got part of it right, and probably would have gotten it all if I didn't rush.

It is just frustrating because I know I worked really hard to study, but I guess I just didn't study enough. No choice now but to study twice as hard for the next time. 3 years ago I really bombed it the first time, but the second time around I got a 910. Hope second time is the charm in this case.

So I just had to see if anyone else had my simulator question out there, so I googled it and I found it http://testinside.blogspot.com/2007/04/ ... l-sim.html

The problem that I had is that I couldn't find the damn Financial Web Server IP address as I needed it for the ACL. I spend valualble minutes think there was some strange Cisco trick to figure it out. The problem was that I didn't realize there was more info in the question and didn't scroll down. If I had scroll down I would have had the correct IP address for the server an would have gotten the simulator right. I guess I was so worked up and anxious about taking the test I didn't realize there was a scroll bar. Lesson to all, check for a scroll bar.

If I had gotten the right IP I would have recertified for my CCNA and not be out of $250.00

YES, passed the CCNA (again) with a 936/1000! This time I am not going procrastinate on getting the CCNP like I did the past 3 years. I have all the BSCI Cisco Press books (third editions), but I don't think I'll be ready to take the BSCI before it expires at the end of the month. Do you guys think those books are useless for the CCNP Router exam, or do you think they will cover most of the same material?
