Hi,

For some time, I'm observing bad performance (very slow video loading) when I'm accessing youtube over IPv6. Youtube IP= 2a00:1450:4001:c001::5b
I'm observing this issue for weeks and I was hoping that after 6.Jun (WORLD IPV6 LAUNCH), performance will go back to normal, but it isn't. I was testing from 2 different ISPs on different machines and on a lot of different videos.
different speed tests shows the same throughput over IPv4 or IPv6, so it looks that the problem is on youtube servers/farm. Does anyone else has same experience?

I was watching a ton of YouTube last night instead of doing my homework. Didn't experience any problems. I confirmed I was using IPv6 as well.

have you compared the traceroutes over ipv4 and ipv6? possible you have a totally diffrent route to youtube over v6. Im using Youtube over v6 since Launch day and never experienced any problems. But because Im in Germany and so accessing diffrent datacenter of youtube it is not comparable to users in US.

is only youtube affected or other v6 services too?

No, I don't found any type of problem with IPv6. It's quite well for working.
