Also got a follow up mail from Cisco, gonna fix that right away.

edit: dang, didnt really look up the Cisco specific qualifications.. a CCNP had to be done with 642-902, or recertified with it. I recertified with BGP/MPLS hence Im not eligible.

What info do you guys give them for the examples of experience? I thought the cisco qualification was enough on its own.

Not sure I can give a good ipv6 example otherwise, we don't really do ipv6 here :-(

Would a ccnp get a cert because of just having the ccnp?

If you took ROUTE 642-902 as part of it, or recertified with it, then to my understanding, yes.

Aah right, if you did it with 901 you're probably ok too. I did the 801 and that wasn't certified.

Sent from my LT26i

I got the Gold but I wouldn't put it on my CV since I have basically zero production experience with it. If my company was to ever deploy it, I'd be more inclined to include it.

We have been saying to our ISP "Can we have IPv6 Internet?" for the past two years. Their answer is and has always been "Hell yes, we can give you a /64 block tomorrow! We can trunk you an IPv6 VLAN down your current fibre soon" Except, soon and tomorrow never come. So I have my own labs and setup already. Cisco IOS firewall has proven to be a bit flaky with it though!

Yep from what I can remember. Actually, didn't you go to the Exponential-e IPv6 conference they held at Wembley Stadium?
