So I have someone that's looking for some guest wireless access. I'd like to find a router/ap combo that I can configure and ship to the site that they can plug and play to get guest wireless. So Im looking for a cisoc box that has wireless that can have some basic router connectivity on it. Im going to end up doing double NAT (normal NAT and then the NAT on this box). Then Im just going to have a ACL that allows the client to talk only public networks.

Thoughts?

Boomchke- First if you're looking for a cisco box I would suggest the 891W range but without knowing the site/office and the number of users it is hard to tell you what you need. Second if you are doing a double NAT all you interfaces will have a private IP Address on the 891W (assuming that is the equipment that is right for you). Probably what you mean is that you want the guest wireless to just be able to get to the internet which is doable by just writing an ACL to block the guest network from accessing your production network. It's is not hard to do at all. I have been running my home network like this for close to 3 years. I have my production network that has my workstations, file/print server, DVRs, gaming console, etc. on it (VLAN1 both wired and wireless) and then have a second network (VLAN2) that has a guest SSID and also a could ports on my 2950 switch. I would have a VLAN just for my server but the 861W that I have only supports 2 VLANs. With having your CCNP and CCIP I assume you can take care of the trunking and what not that has to do with the switch(s) and router. Either there is a lot of docs only for the wireless or some of us here could help you with part of it.

ZBF...? Not sure I completely understand what trying to do but I've deployed a few 877W's with VPN access for the LAN and Wireless just allows straight access out to the Internet on port 80 and 443 (wireless is a different zone)
