I can't help if you're incapable of posting a full res picture. You asked for help but being a douchbag in giving us enough information in order to help

also, why do you need giant pictures? cant you see from what i gave you? and how small are they, anyway? on my screen they are about 3 inches by 3 inches. thats not that small. thats plenty big for me to see whats in the frame. i don't know maybe i am seeing it different or something...but i don't have the pics on this computer anymore. you will have to work with the small ones. if you cant see them, then sorry.

That's the problem with online communication such as forums. You really cant talk how you normally would as those on the other end might not take it the right way.

It is strange that the OP couldn't get better pics or crop them so we could see them better. Almost as if he broke into an office snapped a couple pics and jumped out the window :)

Hey! I already posted this once, but there was drama and the people who "helped" me just flamed and insulted me for not posting hi res pictures. I have hi res pictures :) I just didn't post them to save space, and they could have asked for them, simple as that. Any way, i have this switch here, NO idea what it is. It looks to me like a layer three, because of it's size, and lack of ports, and it has 2 SC duplex ports on it as well. It doesn't have a brand name, model number, or any identifier of any kind. It does have a S/N however, if that somehow might help...I already tried consoling into it and i got nothing. If i can avoid opening it up I would like to do that, but if I have to I will. I'm looking more towards someone who might recognize it, but any help is much obliged. Thanks, and please, don't come here and insult, flame, or just be a total jerk face. Thanks! :)

Also, there are 12 photos, and I can only post 5 at a time. The next five will be in the next post.

The last two are just photos of the bottom, which is nothing special. It's aluminum probably, and no marks there. If you want those I can post them I guess.

Ohh so i opened it up, as you can see, and i don't see anything. I see Galileo, but they don't make switches, I don't think, and google doesn't think so either. I see Finisar on the SC cards, which I know makes optical stuff but I don't think they make switches. It's got a chip that says Intel i960, a sticker that inticates verison, thats probably the most hopeful, I'll take a pic. And 8 switches....Two are up, the rest are off, but I have no idea what they do...any idea what they are? also 5 heatsinks, as you see there. So yeah that's what I've got. I could unscrew it an flip it over but I'd rather not :\ any ideas?

BTW sorry that they are not oriented right, its the iPhone, I took it right, it just sends it wrong. :\ and i'm lazy....

There was no reason to create a new topic. We don't need duplicates of the same thread all over. I've merged the two together.
