I like the Junipers we use.

The SSG's are great. Even the older NetScreen ones are good as well

These are hardware firewalls. You said enterprise level firewalls did you not?

Sidewinder's have been my Internet border guards for awhile. I prefer ASA's for everything else.

We have Sidewinders as well.

I don't know of anyone running Firewalls on Windows/Linux in anything bigger than a small office.

We use Juniper as well, I manage about 20 SSG 320s and 100 NS50s. They work great.

How many years in the industry would you need to have work to know the top 10. And for your answer to be relative instead of just something you've read or an opinion based on other peoples comments made you believe.

It seems like a hard question to me. :|

I don't actually have any of these in production, but I was very impressed with the demo presentation I was in a while back from a company called Paulo Alto Networks. They make some pretty slick application aware firewalls.

Stateful firewalls are generally a bad idea in front of servers, they just make it easier to DoS them. They are a better idea in front of clients. You'd be better of spending time hardening the servers and updating the stateless ACLs on the routers/switches than sticking an expensive box in front of them that's going to fail quicker than the boxes it's supposed to protect...
