Can anyone please tell me if they know of any kit out there that is a powerline pass through kit, but which has more than one Ethernet port on the secondary device?

All the ones I can see so far by the likes of T-link, D-Link and all the other links, have only 1 Ethernet port on the secondary device.

Basically, you may know of a simpler way of doing it, but I have my ps3 and sky HD box well away from my home wireless router, and because my property is rented I cannot install hard wire cable.

Thus, I'm trying to make use of Sky's new Anytime+ service and also my ps3 online gaming. I have no connection at present for the sky box and my ps3 wireless service is terrible, even though I get virgin 50mb speeds from the downstairs pc which is hard wired.

Someone mentioned to me that I could possibly use a wifi extender, say by netgear, which I plug both the sky box and ps3 into using Ethernet, and then this box communicates with my wireless home router.

What thoughts does anyone have on this or anything else I have rambled on about?

Big big thanks to anyone in advance that can spare some of their time on this.

Glenn

Hi

I had the same problem and just connected the power line device to a small switch from e-bay, only cost £15 works a treat!
