Anybody using this at home and want to recommend a product? I want to extend my network to another part of the house and maybe hang an AP off the other end to extend the wireless network as well.

My guess is your looking for a single port 802.3af injector to add PoE to a line comming off your main switch for your AP.

Sorry to say I don't have any experiance beyond the Cisco's Cat6K solutions, but I will say be carefull when you get one as the auto-sensing ciruit takes a while to turn the power off after you pull the plug, and if you switch wires around to fast, you could fry your non PoE capable device. Anything with an indicator of when the power is on gets a plus in my book, otherwize, leave the port unplugged for 10 seconds before plugging in anything new.

Edit: missread, you want to do EoP, not PoE. Why not use a wireless repeater instead of screwing up your power?
