Hello, I am having trouble with something I have never actually done before. I have an old dual core computer that is just sitting there and I wanted to turn it into a dedicated proxy server.

Problem is I know very little about networking and was hoping you guys could teach me some useful tips.

I try and install the ubuntu server x64 12. 0? and nothing bad during the process its just I cant get it to pick up my IPv6 and DHCP settings and I'm wondering if I'm doing it wrong (probably!).

I have a Netgear WNR3500L and have enabled IPv6 for DHCP and I have Roadrunner as my internet provider so they dont require host names to my knowledge.

I guess my question is, how do I set up my router for auto IPv6 configuration?
Or maybe just a general outline on how one does this normally?
Any and all help would be appreciated
