I have configured VoIP phone on Cisco 2960 using the smartport in Cisco Network Assistance.
It seems working but I would like to know what to put Appliance 802.1p Priortiy section in Cisco Network Assistance.
Options are
1-) None
2-) CoS, this has s value section, what would be the value?
3-) Trust

So if anyone could shed a light on differences and choosing best option , i really appricate.

Thanks

Trust if the phone marks its own packets or CoS with a value of 5 if it does not.

Thanks for reply.
I am not sure if my phone marks its own packet.
it is Polycom 550;
when I plug phone it says
"cisco-phone detected on port Gi0/6, port's configured trust state is now operational."

So should I leave in Trust Option in this case?
