Can anyone tell me the "No Answer Ring Duration" number of rings per seconds ... I thought it was 4 sec per ring, but can not seem to find the answer anywhere.

Also with no seconds in the window in CM is the defualt 25 sec or does there HAVE to be something there for voice mail to pickup?

You're pretty close. I think we figured it at 30 seconds equals 5-6 rings. But maybe we were wrong too.

I'm not quite sure I follow what you are saying. It's been awhile since I looked at this stuff. We always said that if a box was empty the default was 30 seconds. You might be able to tweak this globally under service parameters or one of those menu's. I would have to look when I get home. For VM to pickup though it has to know how to get there. And VM would also need a mailbox/call handler/etc with that DN assigned. I'll look when I get home and see if I can remember better.

If you are talking about the time that the CM will keep ringing the remote phone, this time is 180 seconds by default. This timer is called T301 timer and is configured in the Service Parameters section.

I assumed this was an incoming call.

Maybe help us understand what you are doing? There are a few places to change things.
