I know it can be done, but I don't remember the name of it.
Basically on a Cisco router you can set it up to constantly send out random packet types of your choosing to another router and that router will send it back, the originating router will then check and see how well that packet was treated and you can do stuff with that information... but I don't remember what it's called to look it up, I remember Jeremy Cioara talking about it with a picture of an imperial probe-droid on the slide and such. Any help remembering the name of it would be appreciated.
