Hello all, hope u r doing gr8

I'm confused about this question ?! if anyone can explain it to me

How does a device attached to a Cisco IP Phone send data to the switch?
a. As tagged (using the voice VLAN)
b. As untagged
c. As tagged (using the data VLAN)
d. As tagged (using the CoS value)

The correct question is A in the book though it said that tagging is switch process PC's doesn't tag frames.
and the attached pic from the book also ... I'm really confused and feel like I miss a main point to understand here ?!

Yes I picked B too ... but in the appendix it says A is the correct answer (As tagged (using the voice VLAN))
the IP Phone sends tagged data but the PC sends untagged data ... the question and the picture from Cisco 640-461 book for exam

b it is.
Check for an errata on the publisher's website, Cisco Press I presume. If there isn't anything there send them an email and they'll get it in an an errata.
