hello all, I have just start using packet tracer.

What I'm doing: this simple network http://www.packettracernetwork.com/voip ... ation.html

When I add it exactly as the steps it works, but

1. when I'm trying to use another VLAN for voice instead of VLAN 1:

Switch>enable
Switch#config t
Switch(config)#vlan 10
Switch(config-vlan)#name voice
Switch(config-vlan)#vlan 50
Switch(config-vlan)#name data
Switch(config-vlan)#exit
Switch(config)#interface range fa 0/2-3
Switch(config-if-range)#spanning-tree portfast
Switch(config-if-range)#switchport mode access
Switch(config-if-range)#switchport access vlan 50
Switch(config-if-range)#switchport voice vlan 10
Switch(config)#do show vlan brief

I see the two ports under the data VLAN, and its not working anymore. The telephone is not having IP address.

2. When I add only voice vlan without the data vlan
still having the same problem but the ports stay under VLAN 1.

PT bug?

I looked a switch, with port 11 only connected to a PC, not phone, and vlan 10(data) and 20(voice) appear assigned:
Code:
10   data                            active    Fa0/11
20   voice                              active    Fa0/1, Fa0/3, Fa0/4, Fa0/5
                                                Fa0/6, Fa0/8, Fa0/9, Fa0/11
                                                Fa0/12, Fa0/15, Fa0/16, Fa0/20
                                                Fa0/22

Code:
interface FastEthernet0/11
 switchport access vlan 10
 switchport trunk native vlan 10
 switchport mode access
 switchport voice vlan 20
 mls qos trust cos
 storm-control broadcast level 10.00
 storm-control multicast level 20.00
 storm-control action shutdown
 storm-control action trap
 spanning-tree portfast

What does "show inter fa/x switchport" outputs?

oh I made print screen for u, what happens here is that
phone0 is running under VLAN 10 the one I created for voice (not working but it was working when it was VLAN 1)
and phone 2 is running under VLAN 1 and configured it for voice ( having IP )
I didn't continue the telephony-servece configuration or the dn, ephones after the DHCP fail to give all of them IPs ?
any suggestions ???
