Looking for the best book for Ccent/CCNA. Something to read away from the computer. I was looking at the Cisco press books not sure which will be the best, or I was looking at buying the Bryant advantage ccna and printing that off. Any other suggestions or recommendations?
Thanks

Personally, I've always like Wendell Odom's writing style.

For CCENT I would recommend the Exam Prep book co-authored by Jeremy Cioara http://www.amazon.com/CCENT-Exam-Prep-6 ... 0789737167

Excellent material and easy to follow along. I wish they did an ICND2 book instead of a composite CCNA book. However as with any test, having more than one source of information is always a good idea.

The Wendell Odom Cisco Press books and anything by Jeremy Cioara are great. I did my CCENT by only studying from the Cisco Press. For my ICND2, I am using cbtnuggets and the Cisco Press

I only used Cisco Press package. worked great for me but it also depends on what kind of experience you have.

Well doing some research last night, my wife found I can pretty much get any of the popular ccent/ccna books (for 6 weeks) from her college library loan program. They have the new Cisco Press books so I am going to them this week.

I've had good luck with the Cisco Press books. Just be sure you obtain the most recent addition.

I ordered the new Odom book, and the Cisco Mindshare game from the library. I will get them this week and be able to use them for 6 weeks. I will probably by the Bryant advantage book this week also since you get both the CCNA and Security book.
Right now trying to learn the GNS3 interface and trying to get some images.
