Cisco just announced as of May 10th the open ended questions will be removed for the R&S and Voice labs. Good news for new candidates.

No link yet, just announced on a CCIE Webex. Keep an eye out for it on the learning site. Now its still marketing about how "awesome" the 360 program is

I had heard they cut the OEQ's for candidates who are apart of teh 360 program. So now they are removed for all candidates?

Correct so the big sales pitch for 360 is now a moot point.

Fantastic news! Now if only they'd remove troubleshooting until I get mine and then put it back on, hahaha.

I thought it was something that was recently added to weed out the cheaters? In which case why would they remove it so quickly?

So, you configure the requirements for 6 hours, and then they break something for your 2 hours of troubleshooting? Is that how it works?

And with OEQ's gone, that leaves the 8 hours, nothing more, right? What I mean is, is there another part to completing the lab?

Maybe the 360 uproar? Also cause it's a little silly, IMO.
