No link yet, just announced on a CCIE Webex. Keep an eye out for it on the learning site. Now its still marketing about how "awesome" the 360 program is

I had heard they cut the OEQ's for candidates who are apart of teh 360 program. So now they are removed for all candidates?

Correct so the big sales pitch for 360 is now a moot point.

Fantastic news! Now if only they'd remove troubleshooting until I get mine and then put it back on, hahaha.

I thought it was something that was recently added to weed out the cheaters? In which case why would they remove it so quickly?

So, you configure the requirements for 6 hours, and then they break something for your 2 hours of troubleshooting? Is that how it works?

And with OEQ's gone, that leaves the 8 hours, nothing more, right? What I mean is, is there another part to completing the lab?

Maybe the 360 uproar? Also cause it's a little silly, IMO.

No, it's two hours of troubleshooting, somewhat similar to the TSHOOT exam in that there are tickets which needs resolution. In the IE lab case you actually reconfigure the devices as opposed to answering multiple choice questions about the cause and resolution.

Then you have the six hour configuration portion.

The troubleshooting section will do its part to maintain the integrity. Least thats what Cisco is saying

Troubleshooting is a separate section not related to your existing config's

Fuck. Yes.
And actually I appreciate MS certified people quite a bit. Not in the " I wish I did what you did" kinda way, but in a "I'm glad you're doing that so I don't have to" kind way. - Infinite ca. 2010

All google tells me about the 360 uproar is that people are ppissed off with Microsoft about their xbox's.

I didn't know certain people were excluded. That would be grossly unfair

Yea, the deal was if you do the 360 stuff and pass their assessment you get the OEQs waived. I don't think it's a big deal, but a lot of people did.
