I am trying to upgrade an IOS and I get
Code:
Loading "c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin"...c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin: no such device
Error loading "c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin"
Interrupt within 5 seconds to abort boot process.
Loading "flash:/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6/c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-44.SE6.bin"...@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@...

The file is there, same bit count as on other switches the same type that upgraded without any issues

I have 2 switches doing this, and 2 that upgraded just fine, all are the same type (1 is a 48 port though)
Tried 3 different IOSs but neither switch will upgrade or downgrade.

Anyone seen this before?

Let's see 'dir' and the boot system commands.

I don't have a 2960 handy, but I think the boot image is not set right.

Loading "c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin"...c2960-lanbasek9-mz.122-58.SE2.bin: no such device

See, it's saying "no such device". If you look at the one that works it's prefixed with flash:/ which (obviously) tells it what device the image is on. I'd try setting the boot system command correctly (since it's not set) and see what that does.

*edit, srg beat me to it
