 Post subject: How to reset 837 router

We have changed those routers to other ones couple of years ago and I've got no idea what is their config.
I don't have COM connection or know the IP address.

I opened it up and found out few pins so I'm sure I can reset it to factory default through it.

I'd like to learn IOS but I need to gain the access first...has anyone attempted something similar before?

The easiest method is using a console cable and doing password recovery.

Yes I know but I don't have the console cable with me neither PC that has COM port but I do have a weekend ahead and was able to found the IP address! :)

tried to telnet but no luck with the passwords yet...hm
