Ya think it's possible to have a router with the cpu so pinned that it actually causes the line proto to go down on random interfaces?

Can sustained cpu utilization of 95-100% cause the status of an interface to go from up/up to up/down?

Sustained cpu utilization can cause the status of the switch to go from up to down  , actually is not so funny :?
Its a good question. If the switch can put the port into errdisable mode before the reset this will give a chance to the network. Of course the admin must take the decision how important is the traffic of the port.
I think this is a good option, that misses to the errdisable command. Or I am missing something
