I've given up my best attempt was a decryption puzzle thing with a matrix and hex but some of the numbers didn't match up

The path from the encoded to the decoded message has been provided. Some people just look at things sideways, I guess.

It's not write them all out in binary turn it on it's side then convert back to ascii to get the answer cause I tried that last week and got nowhere :-( of course I might have turned it the wrong way :-) lol

Ok, so here's how you decipher the code.

1) convert the decimal numbers to binary
2) read the output as if it was printed (sideways and kinda upside down) by a dot matrix printer

So...31,20,8 becomes this:

11111
10100
01000

Or the letter "P".

The whole thing translates to PM STEVE "WINNER"
