I am using a Binatone ASDL 2+ Router, however all the popular port checking sites show all of my ports (even 80) as blocked (whatsmyip, canuseeme, etc.). I understand that these sites check for inbound connections. However, here's the catch. I have been playing Diablo III, DOTA 2 and TF2 for ages and i think these games require both inbound and outbound connections to work. Also, the port checker in uTorrent also shows everything as fine and open. I really need help with this because i am planning on getting Guild Wars 2 but some people using my ISP (AirTel India) reported problems due to blocked ports, particularly 6112.

P.S. Firebind Java leaflet shows all ports open too, including all the range of ports used for WoW but i found out that Firebind checks for outbound connections only and you need both for MMOs.

Thanks in Advance.

try this site
https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2
they are real good about checking open ports, and you can do a full scan.

with a stateful firewall. the connections are tracked, the firewall
see's the outbound connection, then puts it in a table
and when the return traffic comes back, the table is checked
and if stuff matches, that stuff is allowed in.

I have set a packet filter with any,any as you suggested and I have then looked at the packet filter log and I cannot see an attempt to go from my 192.168.1.101 to the webserver I can access it from internal on its internal IP but no one can see it from my public IP ....... I cannot see in the logs where it is dropping port 80 at the packet level........
