was not that hard. finding one in WA, is a bit more of a challenge.
might need to check out some local BBQ stores.

they are also good for grilling veggies.

it's gonna take a good few hours to smoke the loaf. although you could just set it to the side, or indirect grill,
keep the grill temp at 350 degrees and cook for about an hour, maybe add some wood chips in a the start to get some smoke flavor.

@studen01 Your awesome for making this post! :)

I like the lobby gives a chance to not think about I.T. and a chance to decompress a bit from reality.

Now back to the OP everyone keeps telling me its not bbqing if you use gas. Well, Its better then the george foreman grill lol. I'm getting a little charcoal grill from home depot to master grilling on charcoal. In my defense I do make a the perfect medium burger and steak but on gas grill. No hockey pucks in this part of town ;)

Actually, gas/charcoal is NOT the difference. Barbeque is a cooking technique that use very low heat and smoke to cook meat over a long period of time. What you see in this thread, as the title indicates, is grilling and not barbequing as most people think.

So the next time you see someone with a grill and charcoal claiming to be barbequing tell them they are full of shit and clearly have no idea what they are talking about :)

if it's on the grill and I can put BBQ sauce on it. it's BBQ.
you can also make some mean BBQ in a crock pot.

I think you are mixing up barbeque with smoking, smoking meat is done over low heat with smoke.
then again, looking on wikipedia, there are many definitions to what barbeque is exactly, it's different around the world.

Yeh, there are many types of BBQ, and I was just generalizing. But what is true is that grilling is not barbequing.

Best way to get started in grilling is pick up a Weller 22" kettle from Craigslist for less than $30. Take care of it and you can do EVERYTHING on them. They even make a cast iron grate for them that's nice to have.

To me true grilling is getting to post to this tread and the drunk thread at the same time. Minus pics to the drunk thread. I dont think anyone wants to see that!

pics of the empty bottle would be sufficient, that way we can see what you drank.
