I'll start this one. We're driving to Colorado tomorrow morning with a few other families for a couple days of skiing. Back on Monday but I took Tuesday off too because I'm at my PTO limit. 8)

Some technical reading and video watching. Getting in the mood to study for something so gotta figure out what exam I am wanting to go after.

Gun show on Saturday. Looking for a compact 9mm for my first carry.

On-call next week starting at midnight tomorrow. :(

Have a baby shower for men thing (Diapers and Beer?). And... I dunno... Play some more don't starve and possibly do some VoIP work for work...

Moving stuff over to a new apartment, I relinquished control of all things aesthetical, as long as I get my living room gizomos, desk and chair the rest can be styled however the lady wants it

Apparently I "have bad taste" and "like weird colors".

Red is the color OF POWER and ENERGY.

Well, I suppose I do have bad taste.

I feel you.

I told my wife after our first home purchase which she rushed/control-freaked into... we're not moving unless I get an office. My office right now consists of a laptop sitting on top of the kitchen counter. My lab equipment is pushed into the corner of the garage surrounded by a vehicle and random stuff. :(

Office was my only requirement. We will actually get rid of it once we remodel in like 5-10 years but I will then move it to another part of the house. I NEED to have a place when I have to work from home or nothing gets done.

Oh man... TRUTH! Having A.D.D. is bad enough - having that with having to take care of two kids even with the wife there makes it IMPOSSIBLE to get anything done if I try to work from home. It's gotten to the point that when given the option, I go to the office!

<insert sound of whip cracking>

stand your ground man. first it the decorating, yes dear, then the new furniture, yes dear, then something else, yes dear, then something else, yes dear, you'll be taking care of the 10 kids, yes dear, while she's out with her friends, yes dear, then she will not let you out of the house, yes dear, and if you do go you'll have to call her every 5 minutes to let her know where you are, yes dear.

DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO YOU! MEN STAND YOUR GROUND
(but of course, choose your battles wisely)

I carry a Kahr CM9.

I carry a Kimber Custom II, would be nice to have something smaller, but I can hit stuff with it no problem

Thanks for the recommendations.

I am looking for something small. I have somewhat of a small body frame so any standard 9mm or larger is a little too bulky. Was thinking a .380 S&W Bodyguard but too many people have been saying to go with at least a 9mm for the stopping power.

working up updating resume and implemented some of Glen's recommendations from the "voice guys" thread.

watching some football, have a few Ravens games from the playoff's on the DVR. no football withdrawl for me :)

still working on the bug-out-bag. have most stuff. but it's getting heavy and I'm running out of room,
I'll probably have to repack it again.

Not much this weekend.

Off today and planned to spend the day studying but that will be out as my wife also took off and we setup all sorts of plans. Should be fun though as we dont get much time to ourselves. As long as she dosent drag me into shopping for our girls or herself I should have fun!

Rest of the weekend we are just laying low.
